There are 3 main Qualifications you should be aware of.

Current or previous Military Service – You must either be a member of the military or previously served in the military. Your VA entitlement will be determined by the VA office based on service and previous use.

Discharge -  You must be Active Service or You must have an  Honorable Discharge or a General Discharge (under honorable conditions)
